Terms and Conditions

Binding Agreement: By making your reservation with deposit you will be creating a binding agreement to rent/lease The Captains Quarters and are subject to there Terms and Conditions.

Restrictions: The Captains Quarters is a non-smoking residence. Please inquire about small non-shedding pets.

Maximum Number of persons allowed is 4.

Minimum Stay is 4 nights. Less than full week rentals are available at adjusted weekly rates.

Deposit Required: Upon making a reservation, 25% of the full rental payment shall be due within 7 days.

Balance of Rental shall be due 12 weeks prior to check in. Payment to be made via cashier's or certified check.

Security/Damage Deposit of $500 shall be due with the balance of rental 12 weeks prior to check in. This deposit is to guarantee that if any damages or hardships from guests' use of the accommodations arise, other than normal wear and tear, they will be fully responsible for the expenses incurred to correct the damages. The guest will also be fully responsible for the return of the golf cart as it was turned over to the guest, except for normal wear from the operation of the golf cart. The guest or guests that makes the arrangements and pays for the rental of The Captains Quarters shall be fully responsible for any of the other parties involved in this reservation. We will endeavor to return this security deposit as quickly as possible, usually within two to three weeks. Damage deposit to be made via casher's or certified check.

Cancellations: Payments are refundable for cancellations made at least 90 days prior to arrival. Reimbursement for cancellations made without a 90-day minimum notification will be subject to re-renting those vacation week/s. There is a $200 cancellation fee on all reservations.

Check in time is 3:30 p.m. An earlier or later check in time might be available. Please check with us.

Check out time is 9:30 a.m. A later check out time might be available. Please check with us.

Golf Cart Use: Drivers of the golf cart supplied by The Captains Quarters must be 16 years of age or older. Golf carts are designed for 4 adults. If you have more than 4 adults, or adult size children, you might want to rent a second golf cart from us. Guests shall be bound to the terms of the golf cart rental agreement. A copy can be sent to you prior to your arrival.

Outdoor Grill: We do provide an outdoor grill. Please be very careful of fire! Use the grill on the sand and away from vegetation.

Telephone: The Captains Quarters has a telephone for local calls. Long distance calls must be made with a calling card.

Guests Agree to protect, defend, indemnify and hold the North Captiva Island Club and the homeowner harmless for any liabilities for damages and/or personal injury arising our of the use of the North Captiva Club's facilities, the home owners' rental property and the golf cart provided to you.
